I created 50 cat adoption packets (a starter kit for new adoptees consisting of a temporary litter box, a homemade cat bed and toy, and a fact sheet for cat care), cat hiding homes for the shelter (instead of the timid cat hiding in the litter box in the cage, they were able to stay in a shelter box to look a little more adoptable and be sanitary), new bench cushions for the shelter, and I organized a tour of the shelter for Brownie Girl Scouts (this involved seeing all the areas of the shelter and learning about all it takes to adopt an animal and how to take care of it). This project requires many pre-requisites involving service and leadership and the project itself required at least 80 logged hours including parts of the project where I had to oversee others.
